California has 11.7% unemploymet, Wisconsin 7.7%.. where would you choose to live if you actually wanted a job
That is true however California seems to have bottomed out and is recovering (down from a post recession high of 12.4) while Wisconsin is still on the way down.
Texas actually stopped creating jobs. There unemployment has been on the rise since the stimulus ended up to 8.4 from a post recession low of 8.0. Texas did not create a significant amount of jobs to be noted between sep. and oct. 2011. It is not so much California's job creation pace has quickened as it is that Texas has stoped job creation since almost all new jobs in Texas were public sector.
As long as Texas is paying for it, I could care less

When you have lower unemployment, its much more difficult to create jobs.

But thats not why unemployment goes down even with jobs decreasing. Try again. (hint, Einstein above touched on it)
Walker announces new corporate welfare in attempt to salvage jobs!

Spectrum Brands Holdings is getting a $4 million award from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. to maintain jobs at its corporate headquarters in the Madison area and make investments at its Wisconsin operations. The award is in the form of a forgivable loan, WEDC said Tuesday.
No wonder is spending millions on ads to fend off the growing popularity of his being recalled. He's toast.
it had nothing to do with the labor unions who demonstrated to potential business, just what they're made of! investing in wi is like business suicide!
This is the false equivalence fallacy. Unions spending money on ads to protect middle class workers and jobs is not the same as the Koch brother's shadow organizations spending money to keep Walker so that he can do their bidding -- reducing worker protections; reducing bargaining rights, etc. which inevitably increase the disparity between the ultra-rich and the middle-class.
as far as i know, walkers policy didn't affect private sector unions
We can stop bantering around different statistics. Bottom line is that Walker is anti-worker and firing teachers and cops doesn't help employment.
Two sides to every coin. What you call "anti-worker", I call pro-middle class non-union worker. Firing teachers and cops don't help employment, but they DO help the bottom line. And that's what his job is - to keep his state out of debt, balance the budget, and be fiscally responsible.
The true "anti" anything are the unions. If you're not giving them whatever they want, they get nasty. And what they want is their's, their's, their's. Their way doesn't help employment, either - only THEIR employment.
Job numbers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics are facts, not opinions. The job losses in Wisconsin are facts.
job losses and vacant housing...Wisconsin will soon look like Detroit- bombed out Berlin in the 1940's.
Scary some advocate for a new America like that. They should take a drive through middle America, and see the ghost towns and abandoned housing, homelesss children. A very sad wake up call.

good, wisconsinites can vote out the evil walker at the next election and they can welcome in a pro-public union governor who will give the teachers, cops and firemen all they desire, courtesy of the taxpayer. if wisconsinites believe their public workers are entitled to better pay and pensions they can vote that way at the ballot.
personally i don't think that the incoming democrat will reverse walkers policies because he/she will look at the numbers and see that walker bravely undertook those measures out of necessity.
that is ofcourse if walker loses the election. i have a sneaky suspicion that as the economy deteriorates, wisconsinites will start to resent public sector unions

We are at an average unemployment of 7%, I think your are exaggerating too much.
