Honestly he would be harder for Obama to run against but he will never be the nominee. I don't think he likes the new tea party or birthers either.

Well of course they use him as a scape goat for everything under the sun.

In reality I think they are quite happy getting their way on many many topics and then blaming absolutely everything on Obama.

Again, I'm talking about their savy types like Rove....not the mouth breathing "obama is a communist" masses.

I'm not sure that the Republican leadership is really trying to win 2012.

Fair enough. I'm just trying to make the point that BOTH parties have moved to the right and many don't seem to even have noticed.

Both parties have moved to the right. That's why I'm not a Democrat.

This is why I want moderate republicans to fight back. How have the Dem's moved to the right? I really have not noticed that.

If they wanted to lose, there's no better candidate than Ron Paul or Santorum.

In fact, Romney is there best hope.

Kick the far left Neocons out (you know the ones who focus on tax breaks for big corps, banks, the war machine etc.)

Oh wait.... that is Obama TOO

If you mean they both have moved toward statism, I agree. There seems to be some disagreement as to whether totalitarian regimes are far left or far right. I am not DNC or GOP.

It's good that al of the ignorant Democrats are celebrating the obama victory now, because after November, there will be nothing to celebrate with the exception that now that the communist gone, the nation can begin to heal....

Having now spoken to quite a few Republicans i have noticed that many are supporting their party but not because they feel that the Republican party is good for America but because they cannot under any circumstances vote Democrat. The majority do feel, however, that the Republican party is badly split and has no real cohesion. Some have even said that a third party is attractive to them.
It is a shame that the right has used the past three years just objecting to every idea coming from te left, even if it was a idea that they had previously supported and still support.
This tactic of spending all of their efforts telling America how Obama is destroying America... they were saying this before Obama even entered the Whitehouse... is showing more and more American's that the GOP want to get into the Whitehouse by getting Obama voted out and NOT the Republican party being voted in. This is a extremely dangerous tactic especially as Obama's policies are now getting America back on track..... Even the Republican front runner, Romney, agrees that the economy is improving. The Right has made the Economy it's "poster boy" for voting out obama.... not much "wiggle room" leading to the election if unemployment continues its downward trend and the economy continues to improve. Thank goodness there are many many evangelicals in the Re;ubican party as it looks like much prayer is going to be needed to turn America back into the recession that Bush left us with, believe me the Republicans would prefer that to Obama getting a second term and getting Americans back to work.
Radicals are and always will be dangerous for any Country or group and they don't come more Radical than the testosterone filled right wingers. They look upon America as their own private club that has a exclusive membership with the rest of us looking in from the outside and being "ENVIOUS".
Obama has a extremely good chance of being re-elected but who can say what will happen in the USA over the next10 months.
Americans do however know the choices............. Obama working for fairness and to reunite ALL of America or the Republican nominee working for the weathy and causing the Country to go back three years to a new recession caused by the rights feeling of entitlement, elitism and corporation greed.
When Obama wins his second term i hope that the right will give up their quest to get into power at any cost.... work closely with democrats for the benefit of America and use the four years until a Presidential Election rebuilding the GOP..... if they don't then they are not fit to take office as they are not fit now.
