You mean that great society the OP continues to tell us is so great everytime Obama passes a bill but now has sudden problems with "big government"

Shocked I tell you..

At the same time they criticize Obama for cutting the waste. It's partisanship and hypocrisy at its worst.
Equally amazing is that many of those same conservatives condemn the public school system every chance they get and yet when some attempt is made to improve things they would rather maintain the status quo.

Starting to feel that they really don't want things to improve for our children for the simple reason that it would deprive them of another talking point.

the bush/kennedy NCLB was/is a GREAT IDEA to HELP students and make schools (teachers and administrators) ACCOUNTABLE....the problem was the implementation...they set the standards too high too quickly....and lack of proper funding

why do liberals want our children to be dumb (but passed)

You need to brush up on your history, son. No Child Left Behind was the darling of DEMS. All they needed was a RINO in the WH to come on board, and it happened. Yea, supported at the time by Obama.

And yes, it is a disaster.

If that's the way you feel, then why did you call it a "Bush disaster" with zero mention of any Democrat support for it in your initial post?

Is ignoring your own side's hand in implementing an unpopular policy something only you're allowed to do?

You might want to look into the word "hypocrisy"

It was a disastrous bill that was basically an iron fisted "big government" overwatch on the education system. I thought the GOP was against more government, they should be applauding this
He didn't need it. It was overwhelmingly supported by Dems. It was the GOP that kept trying to stop it.

I'm glad you're admitting that the DEM NCLB garbage is a disaster. And we ARE applauding it.
