And what does what you wrote have to do with the post to which you responded. I provided the quote from the article someone else posted. I don't know where yours comes from, but it doesn't match what was in the article I was asked to read.

It says that 12 percent of those stopped had committed a crime and 88 percent had not. Got it?

I am not a republican and I made no such suggestion. Quit being a twit.

Of those stopped last year, about 12 percent were arrested or received summonses. The rest were not charged.

ETA: Never mind, I found it in the OP link. So, which of them has it backward?

Yeah, his white neighbor who saw a black man going into a nice house. Something must be wrong when you see that.

Also, he did show the officers his I.D.

If this is accurate, can you tell me what the problem is with the police stopping people, when 88% of them have committed some crime?
Did you ever read about how the LAPD was going around in the 80's ramming doors down. Sure they caught a lot of drug dealers and got drugs off the street but they also destroyed the homes of innocent people. They were also profiling people because of race. They would stop you on your way home and slam you down on the hood of your car.

They still do stuff like this.

Lapd Racial Profiling | Justice Department warns LAPD to take a stronger stance against racial profiling - Los Angeles Times

So, you are saying it's okay to judge people because of race? Just because it gets the job done?

Should we just go around throwing random blacks and Latinos in jail because it might bring down the crime rate? Should we make a law that doesn't allow blacks and Latinos out past 9:00 because it might be bring down the crime rate? Should we make a law that allows people to shoot Blacks and Latinos they perceive as criminals on sight?
