Who here was speculating the bar owner is a Republican? The OP's reference to right-wingers was only regarding the "racism doesn't exist" belief some of them push... the only other political BS I've read here has been from "nononsenseguy," who's spewing a bunch of crap about the left. I don't know or care how the bar owner votes, and it wouldn't be funny at all to find out he's a Democrat - personally I don't care because I'm not a Democrat OR Republican, but it also wouldn't change the fact that he's obviously got some issues.
You're right, I was gonna mention biker bars also. So, how does a white bar owner tell the difference between good and bad black people, as I said, let a few good ones in and the bad ones follow.
You can't tell the difference, hence the reason why discriminating isn't cool. Plus there are "good and bad" people in EVERY group, so again that is why you should treat all people as equals - until they give you a reason to believe they're undesirable, based on their behavior as opposed to race/appearance/etc. Is that so hard?

Why should all black (or whatever group of) people be punished for something OTHER black people have done? That's not called zero tolerance, it's called unfairly judging and racially profiling.
They have no where else to go, almost all of the so called black bars in my area have been closed down due to violence and killings. I honestly don't blame them for protecting their establishment from this. Let a few good ones in and the bad ones follow.

To be fair, why would any Black person even want to go to that bar in the first place? I can't imagine any normal, non-self hating Black person actually wanting to go to an all-White bar.
What does your race have to do with whether or not you want to go to a bar?
Sorry, but that statement doesn't justify a "to be fair." Whether they should WANT to enter an establishment or not is irrelevant... they should be ABLE to patronize any business they so desire, regardless.

The same "right" applies to any private business.....to reject people they deem trouble makers from entering their place of business.
