whoops didnt mean to give you reputation so please dont think I agree with your statment.

Here is an example of why ( I made sure it was a white robber so people dont cry racism)

Armed robbery at GameStop in Doylestown Twp. - YouTube

Gang members have been know to rob stores etc... and wear hoodies so it makes it more difficult to identify them.

Please dont tell me youre this naive in real life

So because gang members are known to wear hoodies when committing a robbery, everyone wearing a hoodie is suspect?

Please don't tell me you're this naive in real life.

No, but if I worked in a convenience store, I would be a bit nervous/suspicious if someone came in with a hoodie on, especially in the summer.

It was a winter night, and it was raining.

Feb. is not "summer" even in Florida. People in Florida consider 60 degrees to be cold.

SYG says you have no duty to retreat. THAT is as broad as you can get! That's why "interpretation" is a problem.

Self defense says you have to exhaust every reasonable avenue of escape. It does NOT say that you have to have NO avenue of escape. I understand the difference.

Btw, your status says you are an aging hippie. In what ways do you consider yourself a "hippie"?

For some folks, it's rocket science.

Zimm is beat all to hell. Trayvon, not so much.

For clear thinking brains, the one who is beat all to hell is the victim.

"beat all to hell"? I disagree with that. Have you never seen anyone who was "beat all to hell"? I guess not.

'Beat all to hell' to describe gz is as accurate as 'past history of criminal violence' [phocv] to describe gz. Both accurate. On a spectrum of being beaten or having a phocv, there are people much worse.
