This is silly. For the record, I'm for across the board cuts including military but that's not at issue here.

We can only end stupid programs if others agree to end programs you do not like? If there is no agreement to cut the military, we simply have to allow welfare reciepiants buy cigarettes?

This is not a complaint about welfare. It's a question of whether or not welfare should be paying for cigarette's.

I dont believe that person should be able to buy cigarettes, but the simple fact is, republicans are looking for any reason to end entitlements. I was just making the point they complain about welfare all the time, along with anything else that is back mostly by democrats.

Especially considering the taxpayers will be paying for them when they get cancer..

Never thought I'd see the day when people stood up for the rights of people to have taxpayers, pay for them to get cancer.

It's like a toddler holding his breath until he gets his way.

Pretty much how this current administration is operating.

See, a government is a reflection of it's people.

Let them buy crack. The sooner they kill themselves the sooner they're off welfare permanently.

Maybe if Democrats didnt back stupid programs which perpetuate poverty, then your stupid programs wouldnt be attacked.

No, we shouldnt allow welfare recipients to buy cigarettes. What I'm saying is, i dont want hear any complaining about the problems in welfare from the right, until they agree on military cuts or something else they cherish so much.

Amazing, simply amazing.
Yes, and another good reason to end all government welfare.
