I'm a homosexual, so yes, you did call me mentally diseased.

See that?

When a program doesn't work, you stop trying.

Had this been a pro leftie program, they would be asking the government for more money!

Actually, converting gays back to normal straight behavior does work with the right support groups.

So how does one finish therapy? Do they have to achieve erection to lesbian stimuli and not get one to same sex stimuli?

Granted, I understand your stance and everything; however, it's absolutely false that people are born gay.

Case in point (this is just one that I personally know of): one of my best friends is a lesbian. She has been one for the past 6 years ever since the age of 20. Before she started dating and sleeping with other women, she for the longest time dated guys - during high school and briefly thereafter. Now she's embraced her sexuality of being gay and I don't even look at her as a lesbian whatsoever - she's just my best friend.

Are there cases that could help bolster your view? Yes, of course; however, the same can be said for me as I just demonstrated.

What about your personal anticdote say's people aren't born gay? The fact that your friend went with the flow in high school? That's hardly dating guys "for the longest time", she was a kid. Gay people can physically have sex with folks of the opposite gender. It may no be their perference or something they get much out of but honestly, some straight folks don't get much out of it either. Sex happens for lot's of reasons.

I don't know why anyone is gay nor do I care, but if it's "a birth defect" or something then we all of some sort of birth defect don't we? I've never met someone who didn't have an issue of some sort even if it had nothing to do with sex. Never ever.
