I don't know. Conservatives are still blaming FDR for the state this country is in.
I prefer to blame Lyndon B Johnson and his Great Society. If you want to see the beginning of the end of a prosperous American society, start there.
Obama's accountability starts after 1 year in office. He rightfully gets a 1 year honeymoon, but after that, it's all on him. His policies...his accountability.
Excuse, excuse,....being President reequires dimplomacy and ability to win others to their line of reasoning. If one can not do that then they have to change their vantage, try to implement different policy ideas, compromise more or move on....we elect Presidents to get the job done, not just to come to the table with ideas. An ability to execute and inspire others is equally important...that is called Leadership
OK that's a fair point. But if a person has decided that there is absolutely no way that you can convince them to come to their side, do what they say at the expense of your ideas? Become a sheep and listen to their ideals? Obama did exactly as you suggested: he moved on, because he couldn't get the Reps to come off of their staunch ideals of "It's us or nothing." Today, they blame Obama for the faults that they caused.
I hope that people who claim to vote for Romney because "a change is needed" will also vote for a different politician for Congress, because those idiots are the reason why nothing has changed in four years but the stupidity of Americans.
Your never going to get an answer. Basically, good leaders lead without crying about who's fault it is, but rather focus on solving problems and writing the ship....whereas incompetents look for excuses to blame failures...
Exactly right. Just look at the comments before yours, they refuse to fault 0bama in any way, and resort to using the neener-neener-boo-boo defense.
Excuse, excuse,....being President reequires dimplomacy and ability to win others to their line of reasoning.
And you're utterly clueless about the audience. Nutcases only treat diplomacy and such efforts as a sign of weakness, and do not care about engaging in it. Republicans complaining about lack of diplomacy is like Khomeini blaming the rest of the world for being idiots.
Apparently the campaigner-in-chief is not focusing on jobs, or ways to create a climate of growth in the US, but what else is new.
In 2010 Republicans won control of the House by running on a campaign of job creation. Instead, they've focused on opposing the president on every manner of issue, while doing nothing (indeed, blocking much) in the way of job creation. That congress now has historic low approval marks.
he inspired and motivated the majority of Americans. He was (and is) not perfect, but neither is anyone else. You know as well as I do thatf as soon as he was elected, and before he had a chance to do anything at all, the republican congress vowed to block everything he wanted to do, regardless of how much he compromised and searched for a "middle of the road" solution. If you cannot see that clearly (although I know you will deny it) you are just lying to yourself!
You mean the minority Republicans of both the house and senate for two years into his presidency? Or are you talking about the Democrate super majority in both the house and senate?
You do realize that Obama COULD have done anything he wanted to during the first two years of his presidency because he had a super majority in both the house and senate! But what did he do? He shoved Obamacare down everyone's throat. It's pretty lame to try and say it's the republicans fault for his failures... if he couldn't do it with a super majority who would have given him anything, then he's not capable of pulling off anything at all!
