Get rid of all the evil bad people and then we'll have a Utopian world.
No I am not in touch with reality, you are. The average person does not have/need a gun as the average person does not need to take the law into their own hands. Since most people don't own guns one does not need one to defend oneself.

And you nailed it.

The whiners who are told that Democrats will take their guns away are under the complete control of the NRA and gun manufacturers.

They scare people into buying more guns! And the gun toters fall for it...LOL! How DUMB can ya get???

Never mind that laws against gun ownership, only restrict the law-abiding.

Never mind that the areas with the strictest laws against guns, are the areas where gun crimes of all kinds stay at the highest levels year after year in spite of those laws.

Never mind the complete lack of any evidence showing that gun laws prevent criminals from using guns.

Is there anything these people won't do, any lie they won't tell, any tragedy they won't exploit, to push their tired, failed agenda?

I guess we need to remember the words of Barack Obama's then-Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel: "You never want a serious crisis to go to waste."

But couldn't they at least wait until the bodies have cooled?
Already? It's a little late for a lot of people in Aurora, Columbine, Arizona, Virginia Tech, ....etc, etc, don't you think?

How about instead make laws against killing random people?
Different laws would make it difficult for everyone to get a gun for personal use whether one was sane or insane.

There are laws against killing random people. It is against the law to kill or murder anyone in general (with notable exceptions like a soldier during a war, a police officer enforcing the law, etc.).

The horrible mass murders in Denmark last year happened in a country with very strict gun control.

And look at Mexico where guns are not allowed.

Besides, this student had access to a whole lot of interesting ways to kill people, and who knows what they're investigating in his apartment. He did RNA research, he could easily have released dangerous viruses.

Wrong again. MOST PEOPLE do own guns and do feel like it's their right to defend themselves. People own guns like they own cars. Some don't need a car but most of us do need one.

A left wing collectivist must always oppose an armed populace.
It is not safe to steal other people's property when they can shoot back.

From the Communist manifesto:
"In this sense, the theory of the Communists may be summed up in the single sentence: Abolition of private property."

WONDER if the Hollywood elite who are mostly rich and privileged leftists..are going to chime in on gun control? I doubt it very much that they will- If the hypocrites who do- Hollywood is gun dependent - they are addicted to it's image and use the gun too stimulate the masses through violence and perverse power..tantalizing the most base part of our sensual nature...even if it creates a character like James Holmes..it means nothing to them...they are in a state of institutional denial.

Why don't they look at themselves and maybe get some control over their habitual harming of society through bad art. An addiction to sucking the blood out of AMERICA and the world..through the perversion of the gun...making them "sexy" -which is bizarre in itself- Sex by nature is to create life- NOW these multi-millionaires and their minions have generated a living out of turning sex and the gun into a blended grey soup of evil- that they sell - They are like biblical characters with blood dripping from their mouths who say " We have done no wrong- we have not eaten the children" -

I repeat over and over again- This common formula to generate money through violence is now the mainstay of the left on the west coast....Let them get be called the "beautiful people" if they wish it so- What I see are insidious parasites that eat AMERICA and act as if they are contributors- THEY CONTRIBUTE NOTHING BUT PERVERSITY AND MORE NEEDLESS DEATH.

Yes, and 50 lives lost. Each one a senseless tragedy.

In that same time, about 400,000 Americans were killed by drunk drivers, yet cars are still legal...

(40,000 auto deaths per year; an estimated half alcohol-related.)
