If someone "desperately wants a gun", or even wants one non-desperately, doesn' that mean he has already decided he needs one?

Who are you to step in and tell him he doesn't need one?

I'd like to tweak that 1st Amendment part also. I'd love to restrict some of the people I disagree with that are just plain crazy

i got no problem with people owning firearms like regular rifles ,shot guns, and pistals,, but assault rifles!!! that hold up to 100 rounds should be only for the military.. when the ballistics is said and done with this case they will find that most of the victems were shot with that assult rifle that holds 100 round magazine

Liberal gun hate in Canada - stems from one source. It comes from urban feminist females who were horrified that one drunken farmer got out his old bolt action single shot 22 and put a hole in his wife's head. These eccentric feminists believed that all men were abusive- all men were raged in anger and if there was a long gun in the house- the man most certainly is going to kill the wife - as if it were a matter of time.

That was the start of it all .....Then came along immigrants from crime ridden Jamaica - where life was cheap- They moved into the projects - generated a few kids...took off or got killed or jailed- The kids are now in their early twenties and shooting up the town....The liberals who granted these folks love and welfare are now scratching their head and wondering- Why are these boys killing each other? Then they get a bit more put off and confused when a beautiful white girl gets gunned down in the cross fire...How dare those black people shoot one of our lovely daughter---we have been so nice the black ghetto kids- and now they hate us----and they have guns- what to do what to do? LOL.

I am surprised that this man didn't utilize a home made bomb instead. He obviously had the mentallity to be able to build one and it would have been much more effective than an AR-15. Incidently, when there is a ban on assault rifles, do you really think they will be gone? They will still be here.. They will still be bought and sold on a daily basis. They will just be black market and more expensive to obtain. So are you then advocating that only those that can afford a assault rifle should be able to purchase one? Look to Mexico for an answer. Citizens in general are not allowed firearms. Look at how many assault weapons are there. Think they are all coming from the US? Think again. Most assault weapons are not even manufactured in the US. Most of them are imported from other countries and can actually be imported easier from countries other than the US. Think they can't be smuggled into the US just as easily? Think again. Our border patrol and ICE have been told basically to stand down. Gun control has never and will never be the solution to what ails this country.

What ails the country and what ails the world as far as leadership- Is the fact on a global level- Institutionalized legit criminals have taken over...Those that have grown rich and powerful now see nations as private estates of plunder- Leaders do not care if the citizens live or die---Gone are the good old days- Evil rules- And we let it happen because we sold out- for a few bucks and a burger along with a bit of beer.

It would not surprise me at all if there is more that comes out, more victims. He wore a gas mask himself.

Wow, you and a few dictators throughout history have a lot in common.

First and foremost would be: mental illness.
