Dick Cheney says selection of Palin in 2008 was a 'mistake' and suggests Romney should go for experienced running mate

Former vice-president Dick Cheney said Sunday that having Sarah Palin on the 2008 White House ticket was "a mistake", urging this year's Republican candidate Mitt Romney to go for someone more experienced.
As those vying to be chosen as Romney's running mate spent the weekend campaigning around the country, Cheney suggested that main criteria had to be: "Is this person capable of being the president of the United States?"
Palin, who was a first-term governor of Alaska when John McCain picked her to his running mate, fell short on this count, Cheney implied.

Sounds like ol' Dick is putting himself on Romney's veep list...

He's experienced. He spent two terms as the shadow president. He's all rested up. His new ticker has quite a few miles left on it.

Sarah wasn't the mistake. McCain was.

And this go 'round, Romney is the mistake

If he's the best the Repubs can come up with, they deserve to lose.

No, I do not. Why would I?

Oh well, your comment isn't worth much anyway since it's so off topic.

Cheney knows Palin is against GOP elitist and she will have them thrown in jail like she did in Alaska as governor. She is a threat to him and his crony capitalists. Also it is being said the reason that Romneys advisors don't want her at the convention is because they are afraid she will upstage him and the crowds and delegates will change their mind about Romney. i can see it. She would.
