Uh - the individual mandate was ruled constitutional because it is a tax - see National Federation of Independent Businesses et al v Sebelius.

Tell me, was it implimented under the republicans? I have made lots of plans in my life that I realized were bad and set them aside... I even admit when they are bad plans.. You should try it some time.

It's only a tax on people who refuse to buy individual coverage. People who have health insurance -- on their own or through employers -- won't have to pay the tax.

What does that have to do with the fact that President Obama promised to not raise taxes on the middle class - and then did so - in what he calls his biggest accomplishment?

The Individual Mandate only became a bad idea to Republicans when Obama proposed it.
