You can avoid one of them by having health insurance. How about the other 17 new taxes provided for in the law? Do we have to have 18 insurance programs to avoid all of them?

Let me suggest that you look at this link, yes I know you people don't like to look at links but I want you to stop making yourself look as bad as you are doing. Pay attention to when the various taxes go into effect. 7 of them are in effect right now.
A significant portion of my property taxes goes to supporting indigent care at the county hospital. When everyone has insurance, the ER will no longer be the primary care doctor to thousands who cannot pay. Good chance my savings in property taxes will offset any additional tax imposed by the Affordable Healthcare Act.

He has raised no taxes on the middle class thus far, in fact, has lowered them. It's also entirely possible that the ones affected by the individual mandate that kicks in during 2014 have a net tax decrease, even with the ACA premiums, so no, I won't play your little game.
