Atheism is a nonprophet organization.
Can atheists get insurance for acts of God?
Atheists do not solve exponential equations because they do not believe in higher powers.
We are all atheists about most gods. Some of us just go one god further.
At least they were allowed to keep the tree up. Many extreme atheists are now advocating removing Christmas symbolism from the public square entirely. Renaming it a holiday tree is a much lesser evil than not allowing the tree period.
It's a slippery slope, though. You let them get away with renmaing and later they will force removal of the "holiday tree".
Nunnor is right, from the Pilgrims to fouding fathers, the bible that the presidents swear on and our motto "In God We Trust" we are a nation founded by Christians for Christians.

In God We Trust wasn't added until the 50s, and every statement by the founding fathers makes it perfectly clear they had no intention of setting up a Christian nation, and considered any such measures to be evil.
And by American "Christian" standards, very few founding fathers would be considered Christian today.
That is, unless you think rejecting Jesus' divinity, virgin birth, the trinity, and calling the Gospels the ravings of superstitious lunatics to fit the meaning of "Christian".

Can you clarify what you mean by the bolded portion?

But they did. They did not want a theocracy but thhey set up a country based on Christian principles of equality, country celebrating Sundays and banning polygamy as immoral from perspective of Christian morality.
The Pilgrims, Quakers and Puritans were "more" Christian than any of the major Christian churches today.
Can you clarify what you mean by the bolded portion?
Well because the US was based on the former Christian coliny of Great Britain we celebrate Sundays as ipposed to the Jees who celebrate Saturdays and wr banned polygamy as opposed to Muslims that do not see anything wring with that. This country and its legal system has not brrn built for anybody else but Christians
Oh really? I have a monsque about 5 miles where I live and I don't see anyone amking a big deal out of it. Is the OP even from america?
