I AM SHOCKED, SHOCKED I SAY!

Who would think that a record number of people would be on food stamps in a period of high unemployment, underemployment, and declining wages?

It is truly amazing how that could an increase in food stamp recipients could rise under such conditions?

And we may see Obama set even more records in these areas as he leads us to even greater misery over the next four years. There is no limit to the number of misery records he will achieve.

That is a lie. ~50% dont pay federal income taxes. ~17% pay no federal taxes. State taxes start MUCH lower on the income scale and vary WILDLY from state to state...
We all know the 50% number applies only to FIT. It obviously doesn't include hundreds of other taxes.

Maybe everyone should receive food stamps. We could reduce the federal government staff and just send everyone a credit card every month.

Well... For millions of people who want everyone else to make their living for them (99% of them are Democrats) this is a wonderful thing!

The Democrats are the party of government handouts, welfare dwellers, illegal aliens, taxes (never met a tax or illegal alien they didn't like), intolerance and hate, protectors of the rights of criminals instead of their victims (soft on crime), Union thugs, the lazy, socialized medicine, Wall Street (Obama and the Dems recieved the most from Wall Street campaign contributions), etc.

Actually, the reason why more people are on food stamps is because it was made easier to get them.

when no one is hiring, what should people do? This is coming at a time of high unemployment, or does that make too much sense for those that just want to complain about anything?
