Great Economy, Jobs, Galore, Not happening any time soon. What do you expect when i know some friends and acquaintainces who had a job forever at one place of emplyoyment. A good decent job with benefits.

Now in middle age, and let go, what the hell are they suppose to do. Unlike all the jobs the Dems said are out there, sorry to burst bubble, no they ain't.

When you have worked at your job for over twenty years and up, and let go, that is a low blow to a person's self esteem. Let me tell you, depression sets in, and the unemployed who have always worked, never taking a hand out ever. Now feel, at their lowest point.

If you want a job, i suggest you seriously think long and hard about the decision your about to make come this November. I knew people who voted for Obama, who believed in the hyped up faux Hope n' Change. What they did not expect to happen was the change was going to change their life and their family. When they lost their jobs of many many years, and half also their homes.

It is sad, and you can feel their pain. No one knows what it is like to walk in their shoes, unless it also happens to you. These people, never ever expected to be unemployed. Started in 09 and has moved right on up.

Not fly by night jobs, long standing good paying jobs with benefits. From electricians, to nurses, to bus drivers, to teachers, i can go on.

When we as a Nation, have more people on welfare and food stamps then any other time, that is not a good attribute. Think before you vote, economy, housing, business, are all important. But if you are a man or women, the color don't matter, religion don't matter, you need a job to survive.

Romney will not get Americans jobs, heck that is not even his own business history, but the point is the governmet does not create jobs and tax cuts for the rich will not supply them, just so ya know. Only a Socialist would believe that the government is suposed to get people jobs, you a Socialist?

You forgot to mention the part about there being about 110 Million households, and 46.7 Million receive Food Stamp benefits while 99 Million have cable/satellite.

So, for all you working tax-paying Americans, how do you feel about the fact that you are paying the cable/satellite/internet bills for 46.7 Million households?

Well, ~50% don't pay taxes, so why should they lower themselves to pay their cable/satellite/internet bill?

You might as well pay their rent for them too. Oh, wait, you're already doing that.

Amused...

Not to mention the tax subsidized apartments I'm finishing up building in Dallas where there are Club owner's, Mercedes, BMWs, late model Camaros, two big screen TVs in one apartment and on and on.

Makes one sick to see it firsthand.
This is not stuff left over from when things were good or better, it's brand new items.

That's the goal. As many people dependent on the government for everything as they can possibly get.

They want the middle class gone. They despise the middle class. Just like the "hate the successful" campaign they've got going, it's all about building a two class society and using the envy of the lower class to control everything.

A middle class is not useful to them.

Crime is easy to handle anyway. There's nothing in the US Constitution or its Amendments that states that citizenship is permanent, or that it cannot be revoked.

People wanna commit crimes, fine, just revoke their citizenship and deport them.

Uh, then people can cancel their cable/satellite/cell-phone/internet and use the money to buy food, right?

You're going to have "much larger problems" whether you like it or not.

You're going to have college graduates living in multi-generational households with mummy and daddy and grandpa and grandma for decades to come.

And then working people sharing apartments and rental homes with total strangers...in order to make ends meet.

And then here's some single 18-year old high school drop out kid with 2 or 3 kids of her own living in her own personal private residence paid for by the tax payers -- the very same college graduates who are working minimum wage jobs.

People aren't blind you know. They'll start saying, "Hey, wait a minute, I stayed in school, went to college, did everything society expects me to do, and I'm working a minimum wage job and can't afford to live by myself, but someone who told society to go to hell gets an apartment for free."

What's wrong with that picture?

Portending...

Mircea
That's about one of the dumbest comments I've heard all day. There's a huge correlation between poverty and crime rates in this country.

Did you expect a different outcome when rents soar?

Rising rents make more people eligible for food stamps and are very profitable for landlords.

So at least one sector of the economy is booming.

That's one reason, yes. There's also another reason, more people are on food stamps because rents are soaring in many parts of the country, and food stamps are based on what's left of your income after paying housing and medical expenses. When rents go up, food stamps go up, when rents fall, food stamps fall.

Yep!!!

Economic Failure: 58 Percent Of The Jobs Being Created Are Low Paying Jobs

Economic Failure: 58 Percent Of The Jobs Being Created Are Low Paying Jobs

And the second dip will be/IS coming. I think that's when you start to see the beginnings of social unrest. The government is preparing but you will not here about it on ABC,CBS,NBC,FOX, NY Times etc...
