Don't take things to heart. Everyone these days seems holier than thou. I doubt if the person who offended you understands what Christianity is..That it is a state of mind- a state of true reality...few are brave enough...to be real Christians...if they were - America would not be in such a state of stupidity when it comes to running the place successfully.
If you are to be Christ like - you have to be ready to put it all on the line...to stand up and speak the absolute truth...problem is if you act like a real Christian- you will face poverty and some persecution...The whole system is based on money and deception- That is what the great empire has become.....once you give up on the truth...decline will take place..and as we see the power and the strength of the empire is waning. Remember the revolutionary war cry back in the 1774..."no King but Jesus".....I know Americans don't like the monarchy but it is better to have the spirit of kingship reside in the hearts of men- than no spirit...what so ever.
There were no other Republicans in here other than I the OP. You know it was directed at me. And I am surprised you joined them . Wasn't there enough democratic posts that were about saying I called Obama a muslim?
The problem here just might be that your God is trying to get a message through to you and you're just refusing to listen.....maybe because of pride in your position, attachment to your beliefs......maybe that message could be STOP JUDGING OTHERS, stop making my Son look so bad with your hatred and judgments. That should give you pause to stop and think and re-evaluate your polition. Or maybe the problem is that somebody you trusted told you all these "bad" things about Obama and told you that a "good Christian" would vote for Romney, and that person has deceived you and you don't want to see it. Bottom line, you are not in Obama's head, you can't know what he's thinking, you don't know what, if any, parts of any sermon Rev. Wright ever preached Obama took seriously.

Facts, hell. The other day some of you were calling 94% of that church's members white and I posted a video or two that showed how stupidly arrived at that story was. I think that maybe 6% of the members of that church were white, back in 2008. I doubt there are any more than that now. Do I need to bring those pictures into this thread so you can see some truth and facts?
That would be me. I never said "94% of that church's members white". I said the denomination to which Trinity UCC voluntarily belongs is 94% white. Based on the following Pew study, I was wrong it is only 91% white.
Well William has some figures concerning the church that that one is part of and doesn't worry about the actual number in that Chicago one. Those numbers are old and have been, as libs like to say, debunked over and over.
I believe I found where William's 90 % white comes from. In looking around I found that very number telling about the racial makeup of the high school that Wright graduated from in Philadelphia. Many times people just look at Wikipedia and find a number they like and run with it and that, I believe is what he did.

"Putting it all on the line" doesn't mean constantly judging other people and telling them they are wrong and the world is going to hell if they don't straighten out. That's the problem here. There is a misunderstanding about when to tell people they are not living in accordance with the teachings. People who are NOT Christians are not going to care, and it is certainly not a way to bring people to the teachings of Christ to badger them all the time with all this fear mongering and judgement. The test of whether you are living the way Christ would want you to live is NOT the number of people who find you offensive. The person here who is judging everyone thinks she is doing the right thing because to her the proof is the fact that she's suffering and being attacked for her judgemental attitude. She has totally missed the truth and the point.
I am not a Christian and the example I have seen here would certainly lead me AWAY from that religion. Way, way too much pride and judgement, and no compassion. My god. Why would anyone want to live an "eternity" like that.
