Gotta laugh when people don't know a joke when they see one.

HA HA HA...
But let's remember, that the current president (and his administration) is being PAID to do his job, while Myth is currently UNPAID while seeking the same job.

Of course, feel free to demand volunteers to work as if they're being paid like public servants.

After many days of warnings to evacuate and have basic survival supplies on hand to get by for several days...it sounds like there are still people that ignored the warnings. Sounds more like Katrina all the time in terms of people's reactions.
It does appear that some folks opted to stay behind during the hurricane. We are in Central Ct and had minimal damage plus live on a big hill so there wasn't much chance for us to be in harms way. However, I feel the whole state of CT should have been on hyper alert when we were told this storm was coming. Because there is a large coastal population here in CT with many, many beautiful homes along the coast, they did leave and the water and devastation along the coast here in CT is just awful. God be with all of them while they tough it out thru this mess.

If people do not understand what a mandatory evacuation is then they should be forcibly removed..no rough stuff but an "escort" out of their home to save their lives would be called for. I did see police and fire officials here in CT in Bridgeport, Fairfield, Westbrook, Milford and more going door to door asking people to leave. The storm surges here were off the charts in places along the shore.

I hope there are still not folks stranded on top floors of their homes, it could be days before power comes on and days more before their homes are functional. God be with all of them.

It is Katrina without the poor black folks for the media to latch on to.
Where is the outrage when supplies don't get to stranded folks in these NJ towns vs. the Gulf?

Oh, because it's what you want?

When I read some posts I'm happy that I'm unable to be so hateful, no matter what is going on in my life.

Think it's going to be a "T" $ when all is said and done.

Magical Money?

FEMA's been around for decades. Federal relief from natural disasters has been around for a long, long time before the formation of FEMA.
