Most SCOTUS watchers think the Court isn't quite ready to impose it on the whole nation, though if they rule broadly enough on Prop 8, they could, and the conclusion is far from settled. We'll know in June. And then we'll see where we go from there. Personally, I hope the Court is ready, willing, and able to do exactly that.

It is interesting to compare the current situation with that of interracial marriage in 1967, when the USSC struck down those laws in Loving v. Virginia.

At that time (1967), far more states allowed interracial marraiges (34 states) than now allow same-sex marriage (9 states). On the other hand, support for same-sex marriage is somewhere around 45%-53% (depending on the poll, but in 1968 (a year after Loving) Gallup showed that only 20% of the public supported interracial marriage.

So, at that time -- the 1960s -- legislators had the courage to do what was right in most states across the country where it was unpopular, whereas now legislators refuse to move in any states where support isn't at least above 40%, and even in some states where it is far higher than that (ex: Rhode Island).

They are going to hear it and it'll soon be passed. Only a matter of time.

please find me a mass shooting event in the 50's (like the events of Friday or Columbine not political prejudicial, financial)

What does the school shooting have to do with SSM?

And why hasn't there been ONE example of how the world is being destroyed by SSM? There should be plenty of examples in countries where it has been legal for over a decade.

Again, how does SSM have anything to do with the murder rates of a country?

There are things that marriage improves in a country. But murder rates are not affected by marriage.
