Shocking. Horrific.
My heart breaks for the victims families. Thoughts with them.
Shame on those more worried about their perceived freedom than the wreckage left behind by one individual. Disgusting.
Even worst are the ones, who seem so desperate to politicize this. This isn't about the presidents response, his speech or the his tears.
We shouldn't be trying to decipher how legit he was, or trying to find hidden meanings. Our prayers should be for the families.
I called my aunt in Canada to talk and she said something similar. We got into a heated argument because I don't believe this has anything to do with God. It is a mental/character issue to me.
How did they afford to live there? AP is reporting the mother was a substitute teacher. The shooter is too old for the mother to receive "child support." Did the shooter, at 20 years old, have a job?
Ryan also didn't shoot anyone, his younger brother did.
Ryan was carrying his brothers' ID when he was picked up. What was that all about? Don't so quick to excuse him as just an innocent in all this. The facts aren't all in yet.
Addressing the tragedy on Fox News, Huckabee dismissed calls for stricter gun control and claimed that future violence can be prevented by solving matters of “the heart” and turning to God:
HUCKABEE: Well, you know, it’s an interesting thing. We ask why there is violence in our schools, but we’ve systematically removed God from our schools. Should we be so surprised that schools would become a place of carnage because we’ve made it a place where we don’t want to talk about eternity, life, what responsibility means, accountability? That we’re not just going to have to be accountable to the police, if they catch us. But one day, we will stand before a Holy God in judgment. If we don’t believe that, then we don’t fear that.
Well, hmm, if that was true than every school that worshiped the "wrong god" would face such righteous retaliation from satan or god or the tooth fairy
Doesn't really hold up, when removing god from schools is a standard western thing to do and only the US has this issue.
