HA. Yeah, right. If only everybody prayed more, shootings like this wouldn't happen.

Are you kidding?

It seems almost every month there is a person going on a shooting rampage or attempting to go on a rampage and being killed in our country. I definitely don't think it is only an issue of guns being available. Why are these people seemingly so desensitized to killing and violence? My reaction today was "again?"

I honestly think it has to do w/ video games and the cartoon-ization of gun violence. Aren't young guys spending a lot of time playing these "games?" Otherwise where would a kid get an idea to shoot up not only parents and himself, but a bunch of strangers?

And that's why he failed in his bid for presidency. Lunacy only gets you so far in politics.

It's time to get real. Whether you admit it or not, today was an act of political violence. It was created by a very powerful gun lobby who made sure that you and your children are not to feel safe when you go about your day.

This crisis is 100% man-made.

You must always be afraid of your surroundings because a POLITICAL group has spent millions of dollars to ensure that these things that can kill you should be in the hands of anybody who wants them... even crazy people. Why does the NRA fight any control of guns? Think about it.

I'm still trying to figure out how someone can "remove God" from a school. How is that possible. I thought God was omnipresent. But after every tragedy, these religious leaders make it clear that God must not get around much.

While Huckabee and I have never agreed on much of anything, I think he has a valid point on this one. I'm not saying that we need to turn our schools into religious indoctrination camps, or even that we necessarily need to even mention God in our schools, but the progressives have systematically eroded the ability of our schools to teach any moral values whatsoever. At the same time, it has become nearly impossible for parents to discipline their children without fear of the authorities taking their children away.

Is it really any surprise that in a culture of "me me me" we end up with people who have no concept of how to deal with society at large and end up "snapping"?
