His socialist words of spread the wealth around sociaiism is just what men died for in wars to stem the tide of socialism and now we have a president who puts down capitalism, the rich and wants to spread the wealth around.

I don't blame this person for what he wrote. Many are fed up and taxing and spending will continue with Obama. Where is the budget? Obama has driven us into deep debt and will continue and passing the tax debt unto future generations will indeed happen!.
Good luck to all those young people as their paychecks dwindle with higher taxes , higher food costs and higher energy costs. Obama's dream of getting gas prices as high as Europe, $10 a gallon will crush this economy. Obama doesn't care about this country. His world vision does not include you democrats. You are being used and his power to buy you off is his way to destroy this country and the future generations to come. I pity you for giving your vote to Obama not knowing what he is doing to this country and not smart enough to look down the road of the consequences Obama has given you.
Exactly. the dems and libs "sold" this country down the drain all for promises that will never materialize. And all through this thread the defenders refuse to see they are just as guilty of attacking other hard working Americans. All summer long all we heard is "tax the rich" as if $200K was a banker rich. Then Obama and Liz Warren say "you didn't build that" and you jumped right on board with it.

$200K/$250K are doctors who help you when you are sick, small business owners who provide a service and (who pay peoples paychecks), other professionals, all who took a risk, did without and worked hard to get where they are. And Democrats and Libs can't see they attacked them for their resulting success.

Just wear a badge that says " I didn't vote for Obama" if they want good tips.

The next time you look into your doctors eyes hoping he or she can make you feel better think about how you voted to increase your doctors taxes. If you work for a small business think about how you voted to increase the owners taxes when you go in for your evaluation and hope to get a raise.

YOU are no different than the guy who didn't leave a tip. Yes you did it in a different way but you did it. You begrudged hard working Americans who worked years to get where they are. Most of these people worked hard for years without pay and you let Obama convince you that they don't deserve the money they are earning.

Democrats jump on Obama's attack bandwagon instead of admitting that successful people didn't just walk off the street to get where they are. They refuse to admit it because they are jealous of their success and want what they have but didn't want to put forth the effort to do what it took them to get there.

Democrats are convinced that they are right to attack the people who are making it. Obama is the leader of this divide and attack on Americans country then they vote the great divider back in office and the Democrats and Liberals think they are they are innocent of taking from others, hurting others. Watch them come in now to say "no, not me".

I would never not leave a decent tip (unless the service was just horrible - otherwise, 20+% is my norm).
My way of stiffing the folks who voted wrong (heh heh) is just to not go out at all.

LOL yea, democrats can't seem to get it through their thick heads that they are guilty of voting to take from "hardworking" successful people who provide very important services. They are too busy defending the waitress and attack the doctor who work to make them healthy or the businessman or woman who hire them.

Yep it's 22 pages and they still don't get it.

Right...or management like you say. But my conscience wouldn't let me stiff someone and not tell them I'm doing it.

Not that I believe any of it. This tax increase doesn't affect you for one, because its on more income than you make in 5 years, let alone one year. So let's clear that up now.

And secondly, if your heart was deeply into charitable giving, you'd do it despite the tax increase. So that's all b.s. too.

Welcome to CD, where even the servers are wealthy.

That's funny. My income for the last several years has averaged $1.1-$1.2 million per year. I guess if you are on the low end of the income scale, it is difficult for you to appreciate that some people are actually well to do.

I cut my income for 2013 to avoid "the millionaire's tax". I don't need the money and am not inclined to give more to the feds; thier action will result in LESS REVENUE from me.

I still tip, as the waiters/waitresses are actually working and making an effort. I have chosen not to fund scholarships or the United Way, as I do not want to support those who will be 100% democrats who vote for policies which are detrimental to me.

Welcome to the real world, in which it is nice to be wealthy while most, like you, are not. Envy is a very bad thing and you should be happy about who you are. We will always be able to avoid aggregious taxes- such meausres only cut government revenue and end up punishing the dependents even more.

What a loser. If you can't "afford" a proper tip go to McDonalds.

I am on my phone, please forgive the typos.
So the customer claims that he doesn't have an extra $4 in disposable income because of higher taxes? Someone who is struggling that much probably shouldn't be dining out at steak houses, imo, seems pretty irresponsible, spend spend spend.

LMAO...wow! And a big time millionaire like yourself can still find the time to kibbitz with us little people on CD. I'm impressed!

So millionaires really care about the opinions of peons on random websites, huh? When did this trend start?

Anyway...yeah, I believe you.:
