Cloward and Piven studied Alinski to destroy capitalism with “crisis strategy” overwhelm the system with the “weight of the poor” get everyone on welfare and government assistance and entitlement to collapse. Used strategy to expand voting roles and welfare roles wherever they can, overload the system, increase the tax burden on the middle class, bring capitalism one step closer to destruction. The left keeps pushing these programs when all they have done is tear apart the black families in America and create generational cycles of poverty.

Ah yes...our wonderful Dear Marxist Leader on his way of destroying America!!!! I just luv all this Hope and Change....

According to the OP's link:
Quote:
Reports say the amount of people who showed up looking for assistance heavily outweighed the number of vouchers to be distributed. As the night was fading away and the sun started to shine, the crowd continued to grow as more and more people arrived. According to reports, only 1,000 vouchers were available for distribution. An estimated 3,000 to 4,000 people were in attendance.
It's all a result of rising income inequality not some conspiracy on the part of liberals to make everyone dependent upon the government.

As economist Joseph E. Stiglitz said in Of the 1%, by the 1%, for the 1%:

Quote:
Americans have been watching protests against oppressive regimes that concentrate massive wealth in the hands of an elite few. Yet in our own democracy, 1 percent of the people take nearly a quarter of the nation’s income—an inequality even the wealthy will come to regret.

Its all the 1% fault...none of the fault belongs to the secular progressive socialist policies....You and left keep trying to convince yourself of that...

No, this wasn't the fault of the 1%. The one percent didn't put a gun to the heads of these idiots and force them to throw chairs, and push little kids and wheelchair bound little old ladies out of the way. Every single one of those folks is personally responsible for their own actions. They made their choices - their choices of how they choose to live, their choice to become virtual wards of the state, their choice to act inappropriately while standing in that line.

It's no different than other instances of shortages, like this:

The secular progressive socialist policies are to blame for the growth of the underclass, but not the growth of the working poor.

When government benefits get you more than what working a p/t job flipping burgers or manning a cash register then what do you expect from people ?

Earn $1 over eligibility and you lose it all. There's no incentive, no transition from poverty to working class.
Would YOU give it all up for $1 ?
