Sounds like something a Muslim leader would say.
You know, the type who writes fatwas on how marital rape doesn't exist, how women have to cover up or else they invite Muslim men to rape them (that one's actually true; case in point: Europe).
That one guy is a legend within the Christian Right movement.
He is not. I know people who are on the extreme Christian right who think Pat Robertson is a nutcase and gives Christians a bad name. I haven't met anybody who actually puts stock in what that man says, and I grew up Southern Baptist.
They would be right because liberals like yourself can take everything he says and stereotype all Christians with it, just like you do with the Westboro Baptist Church.
I guess I should expect something like this out of Pat Robertson. This was the same person who suggested that we kill Hugo Chavez.
