The only people who want to disarm you are either predators or wannabe victims. Because disarming the law abiding does nothing to stop the law breaker. And predators don’t even have to be armed to do harm - they just have to be stronger and more ruthless than you. That leaves wannabe victims who must want to be beaten, kicked, stabbed, shot, raped, bludgeoned, robbed or otherwise harmed, without any means to defend their life and property... or they’re secretly predators who will break the law that they advocate for the rest of us.
But but, what if there's 12 invaders and you only have 10 bullets and 1 knife? And and, you forgot to replace your hand grenade from the last time!!
Luckily I don't have that problem. MY clips hold 15 rounds and I have 3 of them, I have 2 fairbairn sykes fighting knives, and my hand grenade was converted to a cigarette lighter, so it won't do any good.
We just had a local case where a homeless person and another guy got into a fight in a bar. The homeless man was apparently looking to fight with somebody, anybody, and someone obliged him. They both got thrown out of the bar and began fighting outside in the midlde of the day in the downtown area. The homeless man pulled a knife and stabbed the other guy several times and then began kicking him when he was down on the ground. A bystander tried to stop him by yelling at him and the homeless man turned on him, when the bystander pulled out his Glock firearm, with a legal concealed carry permit, and fired several warning shots into the air. The homeless man backed off and was arrested a short time later by police.
I can't say firing warning shots into the air was the right thing to do sicne bullets do travel and kill( which just happened tragically to a young girl in Maryland on New Years Eve) but he did show great restraint in not shooting the assailant and was praised for his actions by police.
Honestly the only people who want guns banned are either idiots, well meaning or not, or fascists.
Do you folks think that the gun restrictions are for protecting children at schools?
Look at what is going on. they are cutting spending for teachers but giving money to Syrxxxian's rebxxxels. They are freeing illegal immigrant convicted of crimes from jail at the same time they buy millions of bullets, tanks, and drones to KxxxILL American Citizens without trial or conviction. Just look at where they are appropriating funds.
Seems to me what they want is more control period, the guns are just an obsticle that needs to be eliminated and will use any excuse they can come up with.
People who don't like guns don't want *you* to have one.
Why should people want others packing heat? I'd have to be crazy to want the country armed and losing it whenever their moods strike, then turning into serial killers, mass killers, shooting their wife, their neighbor, whoever. This country is rife with gun killings, and before a person becomes a gun killer because he's pissed at somebody, he's just one happy-go-lucky gun owner. So you're right, I don't want people packing heat unless they have the emotional centers of their brains removed surgically.
