At her age she doesn't know what she's doing or the harm she's initiating upon herself. Kids imitate adults, my guess is she saw her mom do it several times and wanted to try it out. I hardly ever support kids being yanked from their biological parents, this is one case where I'm all for it.
Or she has been taught how to do it by an older male and she thinks that is normal behavior.
A young child shouldn't be up late watching David Letterman, and probably shouldn't be up until New Year's (midnight) either. That was intended for adults, and we have the right to laugh at raunchy jokes if we so desire. Who died and made you the dictator of what's funny or not?
Problem is the raunch is so raunchy even in daytime. Anyone who puts raunch above a child is raunchy . Laugh all you will, this next generation will get raunchier. At least you acknowledge it is raunch.. some don't!
Guess you were born in the wrong era, 4 yr olds know so much more than tying shoe laces and counting to 10.
The bold above is too funny.....
No not at all....
Oh well not really. When i was 5 I built a bed sheet tent in the living room off the back of a stuffed chair set and a table. Under that, with Susie I made a very important medical discovery.

When my (male) cousin and I were 7, he and his mom were over at our house. My cousin and I were in my room, and he said, "Show me your thing and I'll show you mine." My response was, "You're a STUPID IDIOT!", and I gave him a really hard shove with a book, he fell backwards and hit his head on a chair, and ran out crying to his mom. Guess who got in trouble?

This does show us some girls are more willing, both statements are mild compared to what this little girl was handing out. This is not playing doctor........or show me yours and I'll show you mine. This little girl had already been reported on, this is not a one time thing. To think some are not at all concerned that she's being abused by someone, she's just game playing.

Hopefully we'll find out. Is it that the children saw something at home? Is it abused kids? Is it experimentation gone f_d up out of control and into lunacy?
I personally prefer to see kids remain completely ignorant of sex and playing with dolls and Legos until they're 13, if you ask me. There's absolutely nothing wrong with kids not learning anything about real sex until they're fairly old. I personally think kids should be discouraged from any self experimentation, but not in a crazy way, angry way. Just saying "no" is plenty. Kids need to have a childhood - childhood movies, nice things. When sex enters into childhood, no matter how, I think things are bound to go VERY BAD. My parents used the locked door method of being together. Sometimes they'd be in the bedroom locked, we'd knock and yell, but they'd be in there, all nice and locked in. We thought they were arguing silently.
Good to see the father of one of the boys is being honest about his son. The boy does not understand oral sex is not normal for kids. You can't just tell every girl, kiss my peepee. This boy and the other kids involved will need therapy for a number of years to get past this.

Personally I like "raunch," and humor is highly subjective. Besides, if we're just talking about words (as opposed to images), who really cares? Words only have power if you give them power, and I've never understood why darn is any different from *insert censored word*. My parents weren't hung up on silly things like that, and we all turned out just fine! I mean, they weren't inappropriate around us, but also didn't care about things like words or a little adult humor.
But how is anyone "putting raunch above a child?" Please elaborate, as I'm not sure I understand that comment.
My daughter and her husband don't have cable TV. All they have is Netflix and a DVD player. And they home school.
Their oldest is ten and she is so precious and innocent. All of their little kids are, really.
They may be sheltered but at least they're not giving some little boy a blowjob under the slide at school. They wouldn't even be able to comprehend something like that.
I remember when I was about twelve or so and someone explained oral sex to me. I distinctly remember thinking to myself, "You've got to be kidding me." Hell, I might have even said it out loud!
Nah, they'll just do it at the public park instead! When will parents learn that sheltering your child doesn't work, in fact it usually leads to MORE bad behavior (once they're free of total control)? I knew plenty of kids like that growing up, and they taught ME some pretty naughty things.
Real Sex has been on cable, like HBO or as you say Showtime, for YEARS. How you didn't know that show was on a cable channel is beyond me. And it was 10 or later, I've never seen it on earlier than that.
Yeah, that show has been around probably since I was in high school (and I'm 36 years old). It's on HBO, a paid cable channel, and pretty sure it only shows late at night. It's also not "pornography," but I guess that could be a subjective opinion... it's actually a very interesting show, and has probably 10-20 different segments by now.

P.S. This wasn't a public school this happened at, it was a lutheran school. How you like them apples? Guess you didn't read the article.
As I said above, the most sheltered kids are usually the naughtiest!
