Funny how I am supposedly talking about blacks as if they are some monolithic group but you keep talking about conservatives as if they are some monolithic group that watches Fox.

Because you chat the same insanity that they do. First you told us that corporations are falling over themselves to hire blacks. Then you scream that blacks shouldn't expect special privileges (we don't). Maybe one day you will admit that white males, hire people like themselves, so that gives other white males an advantage. Is that unique? No. But in a society controlled by white men you must admit that, all things being equal, you do have an advantage.
So why do we see thread after thread in this section about how lucky blacks have it? That's when we aren't all engaged in beating up whites.

Law suits are expensive and thanks to your GOP party, employment based discrimination is difficult to prove. Any case when we do file this law suits there are many like you who wail "or there they go again these whining blacks", and the cases get thrown out of court. The cases that move forward occur when the Feds become involved and it takes years to come to some resolution.
Just making a point about whining is not unique to one group of people, not blaming you for what they post.

I assume they go to all colleges, even NON-HBCU'S, to do recruiting, and even then I have never gotten an interview from job-fair visits. And no I am not implying racism

How is it insane for a hiring manager at a Fortune 500 company to hire a white male if they make up 83% of the applicants?
How is that his fault?
If white males are so racist and "control society" like you say then the president, attorney general, Federal Reserve chairman, CEOs of Xerox and McDonald's, House minority leader and several supreme court justices would be white males.
And yes, corporations are tripping over themselves to hire blacks because business is complicated enough without having Jesse or Al set up microphones for a "news conference" outside your front door.
You should thank your leaders like Jesse and Al for pushing for "change" at these businesses (even if ultimately they are self-serving publicity hounds).

I am now hearing more and more how African American racism towards whites is far more widespread than anti-black racism. To further the point, look at the extract written by a Bahamian tour guide who recently dealt with African-American tourists:
So the Jitney from the place, driven by our friend, goes out one day on the little island tour and all. The thing was packed full of Black Americans (Again, I've never even heard of such a thing), and there were a grand total of three White Americans onboard. My fam wasn't on there, but they knew the one white couple who went along. So, our Bahamian friend, as usual, starts out by saying: "Hey, how about Obama!!!". He's a cheery dude, and yeah, I don't agree with his view on Obama, but I still consider him a really great person, and a good friend. All of the sudden, the Black Americans on board cheer, and then for the next hour they go on anti-white rants, bashing white people, trashing America and its "White Culture", and completely turning the damn tour into a black hooded Klan rally. Our friend, the tour-guide, was shocked as hell, and he tried in vain for the next hour or so to change the subject, and to delve into Bahamian culture and such, but the Black Americans wouldn't shut the XXX up, and they kept ranting and bashing against "White Folk". It got so bad, that our friend became concerned for the White Americans onboard, but fortunately it never got out of hand towards that extreme.
So Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and other "African-American leaders" haven't been telling white people what their issue should be for, oh, 40 years now??

I merely wondered why with a black teen being slaughtered by another black teen in Chicago on a nearly nightly basis the number of black comedians on a tired comedy show would be something to rally the "community" around. You still haven't answered that one.

as far as African American leaders, they have never told white people what their issue should be, they've expressed the concerns of African Americans to the general public. but I could see how someone like you might not understand the difference.
Are you seriously trying to say that the lack of black females on Saturday Night Live was never a concern in the African-American community. MSNBC and CNN strongly disagree with you.
And I'd love for you to point out where I displayed anger that SNL had a casting call for black talent.

I wouldn't care if every tv show in America had only black actors. TV sux no matter the race of the "talent".
well you're the one here who brought it up. none of the black posters did. did msnbc/cnn talk about the issue before or after the black snl actors bought it up? before or after Kerry Washington was on the show? I am part of the black community, we are not all of one mind, and very few people care about the casting on SNL. most people don't watch it.
