Union supermarket workers are paid minimum wage?

Dont like it? Start your own business and run it the way you deem appropriate.

I researched that and found the SEC made that pretty much impossible.

Basically. I had a friend that worked for Kroger at one point and their pay a basically min wage. They might make $8/hr, but then you have your dues. CVS hired him at $8.50/hr and he left there to work at FedEx for like $14/hr.

Count yourself lucky they only stole stuff , a Uof Md student terminated a dispute with his roommates. Two dead, one critically wounded. The shooter commited suicide.

Where do these morons get the notion that minimum wage is meant to be a living wage? It is an ENTRY level wage, it's not something meant to support your family on.
It should certainly be enough to support the worker himself though.

do you agree?

What does the SEC have to do with you starting your own business?

Nope, and that's why they are getting their butts handed to them by the super stores. Who pays 30% extra for basic items? So a grocery bagger can have a pension? Absurd.

I see a lot of older people working at these stores now. There's a reason why teen unemployment rates are going up... Because people have to take these menial jobs to support themselves.
