Hawaiian Native/Pacific Islander (% of total) 0%
Hispanic Enrollment (% of total) 57%
White Enrollment (% of total) 16%
Two or More Races Enrollment (% of total) 0%
Dallas Population:

Hispanic - 507,309 (42.4%)
White alone - 345,205 (28.8%)
Black alone - 294,159 (24.6%)
Asian alone - 33,609 (2.8%)

Asians are still over-represented at this school, while blacks are under-represented.

I wonder what the size is for each graduating class. If it's small (sample), it does not have much meaning.

And? The school is still majority minority, particularly Hispanic and "Black."

Actually, if the classes are small, perhaps that plays a significant role in their achievement. People place meaning on class size when looking a colleges & universities. Why should it not have meaning when it comes to high school students?

Based on what this article? Which relies on a poll of feelings. The objective data says otherwise. What is so threatening about acknowledging there is a cultural problem that needs to be addressed? Is saving face really that much more important than saving kids?
