I would in fact be happily surprised if that wasn't what he's referring to.
So - no happy surprise today.
There's a passage in the Haggadah I will be reading from tonight, as we sit down to our Passover Seder. It has to do with how we ourselves can't be free as long as people around us are not, and how it is on us to make their freedom happen. I suspect I will be thinking of this thread.
This thread like all others on this topic is hilarious. The screeching sound you hear is the final cries of the ignorant and bigoted going down in flames. The war isn't over, but the main battles have been won.
I suppose that stating a historical fact makes me an anti-semite. This thread is hysterical.
I agree. I've been chuckling all along reading it.
It's sad and pathetic, of course, that there are those who still think and believe the way these bigots think and believe.
But it's funny to watch them and to read their posts and to know they are in the minority and that they can't stop what is happening and that they post their silly, whiny, and sometimes optimistic, threads over and over and over.......and it's just oh-so-much fun to MOCK them.
Of course you'd take that opportunity to bash a serviceman. How patriotic.
Come back to me when you volunteer for free. Not getting cushy money, free school for essentially running up and down a ship and servicing it (at the same time seeing the world too). Don't want people to 'bash' it, don't try to hide behind it then.
Cinebar, he's just throwing crap against the wall, hoping something will stick. If you can't win an argument, call your opponent an anti-semite.
It's the epitome of jackassery.
