Except that sucking sound of more tax dollars down the drain just got a little louder. That's what this is really about - money! How romantic eh?

What will you do? My life won't actually change, but there seems to be so much "crazy" opposition that I'm wondering what will you do.

Will you move to a different state? Different country? Campaign against gay marriage even more? Home-school your kids? Become Amish?

Do tell...
I will live my own life and continue to not care about this issue while treating my gay friends and my Christian friends with the respect due to them as human beings.

I expect that there will be a lot of new movies and shows with a gay theme. Hollywood will be working around the clock to further normalize the gay lifestyle and ensure the continued erosion of morality.

I also expect that there will be a lot of lawsuits against businesses, organizations and religious institutions that want no part of embracing the homosexual lifestyle.

Thank you for this.

Many people in this country remember the past with some very thick rose-colored glasses.

Continue to work against such laws. But it is clear that Ginsburg, Breyer, Sotomayor, Kagan and Kennedy have little use for Section 3 of DOMA, the only relevant portion of the law. Alito also seemed uncertain about it today. And I doubt the Chief Justice has much interest in having his position being on the losing side of a lost cause as part of the legacy of the "Roberts Court". So, 6-3 to overturn; 7-2 if Alito joins the majority.

" If DOMA is struck down what will you do?"

Absolutely nothing. It will be totally meaningless to me, so the next day will be just like the one before, and on and on until I die.
No crying, no celebrations, no nothing, just another day!

When DOMA was signed into law, were there legal gay marriages?
