Exactly right.

By contrast, the only example of a liberal multi-party democracy in the Middle East - Israel - is one of the most pro-LGBT countries. There is no discrimination against gays in housing, employment, the military, banking and credit, etc. Israel has gay community centers and officially recognized LGBT organizations. Even same-sex marriages solemnized abroad are legally recognized.

Saudi Arabia = Conservative Monarchy = anti-gay

Israel = Liberal multi-party Democracy = pro-gay

Muslims are the ultimate collectivists. Muslims value virtue over individual liberty. Same as Bloomberg, who would ban large surgary drinks, Clinton, who would regulate tobacco, and Obama, who who regulate sodium intake. Ultra liberal, not ultra conservative.

Exactly right. In the first three decades of the 20th Century, German Jews, generally speaking, were left-leaning liberals. The same could be said of most American Jews in the 21st Century ... the vast and overwhelming majority of them voted for Obama in 2008 AND 2012.

The Nazis hated the Jews for their liberalism, not because he hated kosher food or Klezmer music or stand-up comedians.

Nazi Germany was a right-wing Fascist dictatorship. However, Americans in the GOP and also those who identify with the "Tea Party" are not Nazis; to make that charge is just silly.

Nonsense.

The topic is about criminalizing and persecuting gay people ... not soda bottles.

Who is more likely to support the rights of gay people - liberals or conservatives????

Huh????

Nice list. Unfortunately for you, the Tea Party believes none of those things. Fail.

I find many parallels with the ultra-conservative Tea Party/GOP and their harsh take on gays and religious subjects and the ultra-conservatives in Saudi Arabia. I am not saying they are the same but the more right-wing the GOP becomes the more they resemble the Saudi conservatives. Lets hope we don't turn into Saudi Arabia if the Tea Party somehow takes over America..

Saudi Arabia beheads murderer¿ and then CRUCIFIES his body | Mail Online
The term "ultra-conservative Saudi Arabia" is an oxymoron to start with. Ludicrous at best.

The comparison to the Tea Party is beyond absurd, it's fear mongering at it's lowest level.

Muslim extremists are just like the evangelicals. They are hard right fascists that wish to force their views on the masses and if you don't get in line, you will be trashed and even have violent acts committed against you.

"Powerful government" carries very little meaning, actually. A government is deemed too powerful only when it goes against your own whims. For example a monarchy is not leftist, but it dances to the whims of one person, and is exactly what right wing is about: Trust in hierarchy. That is the direction Fascism and Nazism took. Also note selling of "Christian values" by Nazis as a propaganda. Do you need help on that front too?

Fascists and Nazis did the exact opposite. They were into spending more and more into the military. In fact, the masses were the tool for strongest military in the world to them, nothing more than that.

Even its current moderate government has found it hard to rid of its extremist right wing elements.

The government of Saudi Arabia is the most right-wing faction of Islam. They are strong followers of religion and take a hardline right-wing stance to most things. They are the most similar to the Tea Party we have in America.
Ridiculous. This man was not beheaded for sodomy. Pederasty of men with boys, and men using available men is common in society's that are highly segregated. Men need an outlet, just as prisoners do, but they don't view it as some separate identity, agenda or lifestyle. Another factor is not outwardly having slaves to satisfy their urges.

For many Saudis, the fact that a man has sex with another man has little to do with “gayness.” The act may fulfill a desire or a need, but it doesn’t constitute an identity. Nor does it strip a man of his masculinity, as long as he is in the “top,” or active, role. This attitude gives Saudi men who engage in homosexual behavior a degree of freedom.
