Standing your ground doesn't involved sitting on someone and beating him. The newest evidence released shows that Trayvon had extensive grass stains on the knees of his pants, consistent with Zimmerman's story and the witness who saw Martin sitting on top of Zimmerman beating him.
Zimmerman had no grass stains on his knees, BTW.
The judge has said she will allow evidence that establishes a pattern of violence for Trayvon. The texts include multiple fights, and in one, a friend told Trayvon he better quit fighting before he got suspended again. Trayvon said he wasn't done with a dude because "he had only bled from his nose." Sounds like a pattern. Go for the nose, but that's still not enough.
He also said he had lost the first round of one fight because the other person sat on him. So he learned from his other fights to go for the nose, and then sit on the guy beating him
Also, the texts show Trayvon's mom had throw him out of her house even before that last suspension. I had read that previously, but this is the first evidence that confirms it. It also shows Tracy Martin is a liar, again. He said he went and picked up Trayvon to bring him to Brandy's. Trayvon actually was thrown on a bus to ride to Sanford.
Mom kicked him out, Dad won't even go pick him up. Dad has mistress pick him up at the bus station. Not quite the loving little family that's been trotted out, is it?

While I doubt the prosecution will be able to get it all in, certain portions do speak a propensity for actions that are directly similar to the night in question. character assasination, Irrelevant and immaterial. He was an innocent child walking home with Skittles and iced tea the night gz killed him, and that's all that matters. He was a typical teen, nobody's perfect. tm is not on trial. A slimy defense effort to taint the jury pool. gz has a criminal record, a past history of violence, took Adderall. tm didn't deserve to die.
That should pretty much cover the bases.
It matters if all that that BS is complete fiction made up by people like you. Clearly he was NOT just an innocent child, more likely a menace to society and if people were honest the world is probably better off without him.

You don't know that, you weren't there to see what did or didn't happen. If Zimmerman says Trayvon attacked him are you more likely to believe him if we know Trayvon was a thug, or an alter boy/honor student?

White kid walking through Black neighborhood and Black man with a history of violent encounters jumps out of a car and provokes/attacks the white kid because the Black guy wanted to know what the kid was doing in 'their' neighborhood?

Nobody would say anything about it, because it happens pretty much EVERY time a white person wanders into a black ghetto. My spouse and I once took a wrong turn in West Palm Beach and had to floor it to prevent the gang from getting in front of our car. They may have just been intending to steal the car, but there were murders all the time in that area. That was the ONE time I wandered into a black neighborhood while living in FL, and it was terrifying.
