This thread proves that most right wingers were happy that a black kid got shot and killed. Many of them probably have fantasized about doing the same thing as George Zimmerman.

All that means to me is that Zimmerman really shouldn't have been chasing him around for "walking around, looking about". That's kinda the entire point of why you don't go around harrassing strangers - you never know who you're dealing with.a

I've been in many, many fights in my life. Some as a kid on playgrounds, some as a young adult being stupid and cocky in college and a few times as a man fighting for my life against an attacker.
I have no doubt that Trayvon was in a fight, I'm just not buying the "stand your ground" statements by a few fools in here. Trayvon wasn't standing his ground and GZ hasn't claimed he was standing his ground either. Stand your ground laws protect people who are defending their lives, it gives someone the basic right to fight back against an imminent threat(s) instead of fleeing. Once the threat is eliminated you're no longer standing your ground. Climbing on top of someone who is on their back and beating their head into the ground is not standing your ground.
I hope Zimmermans lawyers get hammered for trouting out this BS that has nothing to do with evidence. As you have said there is no way of him knowing one thing about Martin from observing him walking down the street. I do not have a dog in this fight and the court will sort this out. But keep in mind this whole thing should have been avoided if Zimmerman listened to the police dispatcher and stayed in his truck as requested.
The dispatcher never knew Zimmerman was out of his truck on foot until he asked him if he was following the suspect. Zimmerman said he was and that's when the dispatcher told him not to do that and to go back and wait till authorities arrived. Zimmerman complied and was on his way back to the truck when Martin approached him and attacked him.
How come he didn't end up going that way? He was no where near it when TM was killed. Did he drag the body?
