Black high school graduation rates are around 61.5 percent and Hispanic high school graduation rates are around 63.5 percent, so I believe that you are wrong.

While the graduation rates could be alot better for bother groups, what this shows, is that at least 61% of Black students were teachable, and show that it isn't most.
HS diplomas literally are a joke today. Heck, college "diplomas" can be a total sham, in many instances. Just because some person has a diploma today does not make them an intellect. Personally I think federal aid (FAFSA - Pell grants) should not be given to many of the liberal arts fields. Math and Sciences undergrads should be heavily favored in the aid department. Personally I think this would fix a huge problem in funding in this arena.

I won't deny that some places in California have violent hispanic schools, but when you compare hispanic schools to black schools it's not even close.

I feel alot safer in a Mexican community than I do a black one. I live in Texas where there's as many hispanics as there are whites.

Again: It has nothing to do with poverty.
Let's see..Latin Kings, MS13, Tango Blast, Mexican Mafia just to name a few.

MS13 represents the Sinaloa cartel and Tango Blast represents the Los Zeta cartel

I don't see why this is even up for debate regarding skin color. The OP already had to concede that there are dangerous schools with hispanic (poor) students. We also know there are black schools throughout this country that do not have these problems. Race is not the problem. The problem is the disporportionate amount of poverty and ignorance that effects black people living in the inner city. Let's not forget about places like Arizona, the last state to recognize MLK day, where the grad rate of black male students is higher than that of white males. When people have opportunity and resources they prosper.

These kids get to go to school but not the 6 year old who points his finger at someone or brings in a GI Joe.

The schools need a lot more leeway to expel problem students. Get rid of the problem ones and let their parents deal with them. Then focus on teaching the ones that actually are willing to act like humans instead of animals and want to learn. Not a black thing, should happen in any school. Part of the reason NCLB was such a disaster.

I never said a HS diploma was enough. I was responding to someone who said Blacks were "unteachable", so I had to prove said persons wrong. And what does the rest of what you have said have to do with the things I was responding to?

And it's only going to get worse. Now suspensions are being seen as discriminatory because more minorities get suspended than Whites. So guess what the answer is ? Why less students are being suspended so the numbers will look better.
Now what do you think is going to happen when students realize they won't be suspended for what they do ?

Forget about expulsion..that will not happen.
