That's how it is where I work. The ability to build financial models is pretty valuable.

That's a tad high for staff level engineers, but not gigantic by any means. These employees would merit bonuses elsewhere so if your employer does not pay them, they lose them.

No doubt, especially when those models include various ways to further disenfranchise the workforce.

This thread is a straw man argument.

Unions have no power in this country anymore.

Lobbying Spending Database | OpenSecrets

Misc Business $5,544,515,585
Health $5,485,875,161
Finance/Insur/RealEst $5,481,782,185
Communic/Electronics $4,516,081,244
Energy/Nat Resource $4,080,975,358
Other $2,948,801,871
Transportation $2,836,188,460
Ideology/Single-Issue $1,818,958,765
Agribusiness $1,659,448,396
Defense $1,570,287,009
Construction $601,718,742
Labor $548,211,641
Lawyers & Lobbyists $395,086,969

Unions are at the bottom of the list when it comes to political lobbying power.

Look to the top of the list to see who the leeches are that want the government to cater to them.
They do not have a leg to stand on.

If their profits have grown, and models helped that, why break the process? It is working.

If he's not a member of the union then he did not get vacation days because of them.

Unions negotiate for heir members. No one else.

You people act like non-union members don't negotiate their own deals, including vacation days.

Oh my God are you actually for real?? First you state that the thread is a strawman argument and then you go on to show that the OP is 100% correct. There is a hatred of unions in the United States, how the hell do you think they lost all their power? It was because the rightwing, which hates working people, made sure they lost all their power. That's why it's important for those of us who love America to fight back

Why should a US worker make $25/hr when people in East Europe will work for $3/hr with no complaints?
