I'm not referring to those in professional managerial positions, I'm talking about engineers and such. Those who are department heads were looking at 40K in profit sharing, while a first year engineer or office worker got at least 15K.
That's how it is where I work. The ability to build financial models is pretty valuable.

That's a tad high for staff level engineers, but not gigantic by any means. These employees would merit bonuses elsewhere so if your employer does not pay them, they lose them.
