Separation of Church and State. Have you ever heard of that? How about freedom of religion? You cannot require them to do anything against their beliefs. This is not a communists state yet.

Yes, they can and do. They can also discriminate based on religious affiliation, or any other reason they choose.

Recent instances of discrimination have been met with public outrage and a prompt apology by the hierarchy of the Southern Baptists. It is very unlikely that there would be anything but widespread support when they deny gays marriage in their churches. The law may recognize them, but it will be many years before the major religious orders do.

Wouldn't you know it:

According to the USGS there were exactly TWO earthquakes in the US today. One close to Anza, CA and the other close to Ridgemark, CA.

Clearly, it has begun... CLEARLY!!!

Public outrage is not forcing them by law. They CHOSE to change. They may or may not choose to allow same sex weddings, but they will not be forced to by the government.

**howling with laughter**

Plate shift happens.

Trust the far right to not understand science, geological formations and the effects of drought. Disease knows no borders and - let's pick Los Angeles shall we? - a cheap house in a bad neighborhood is $200,000.

Worried it's going to break off and fall off into the ocean? Stay home. Traffic on the 405 is bad enough and the last thing the state needs is you adding to the congestion.
