I think it is because so many millennials were raised by their mothers. Mothers will raise their children to less violent. Fathers imbue their sons with aggression and territorial insecurities.
Yeah, because statistically, children of single mothers are much less likely to be violent and commit crimes.
Its probably because guns isn't that really a big deal and liberals overblown the idea that it was for their own agenda... gosh, that has never happened before...

It's amazing , more and more people are now legally carrying and there isn't a shoot out in the street everyday , or peope accidently shooting themselves left and right or just plain mass chaos. Don't believe the hype sheeple, a firearm is just a tool.

This makes the gun violence in Chicago all the more serious. So why does Obama fail to make an issue of the killings going on in Chicago, and why the media ignores it also? Was there no political gain to be found with dozens of dead children in Chicago?

What exactly would you like Obama to do about the violence in Chicago? Because absolutely no solution he could possibly propose would be acceptable to you. No matter what happened, you'd still call him a failure. Also, he doesn't run Chicago.

Crime in Chicago has been going down for 20 years, despite what you hear in news.
It's down from 2012, but 2012 was a spike (warm year), so that doesn't really count. It's virtually equal to 2011.
The point is that the left's incessant cries of blood in the streets over 30 years worth of expansion of gun rights has been total BS.

Yes, that must be the reason. Easier access to guns. That must be the reason gun crimes are down overall. There couldn't possibly be any other factor or combination of factors. Just out of curiosity, did you know that some people have the theory that since abortion was legalized in 1973, crime is down because the very people who would now be at crime-committing age and circumstance were aborted? It's just something to consider.
One thing I've learned about conservatives, and it's only that much louder here, is that they draw such easy conclusions and make such tenuous connections using only specious reasoning. They see one thing happen and immediately grope for causation with the first possible thing that comes to mind. They also see most every issue in terms of black and white. There is never even the shallowest layer of complexity to anything.

And you bring this up with the gun debate, the debate where liberals have made a point of abandoning all analysis to consider such horrible arguments as "look at Europe" and "the south is more violent because of gun laws".

I don't know who said the south is more violent because of gun laws. I see more gun violence in areas of poverty, wherever that happens to be.
