Actions have consequences.

Getting shot in the head by a protective homeowner is the risk a 14-year-old makes while trespassing on private property at 2:00 AM.

Since his parents knew about their son's bad habit of robbing people and burglarizing houses they should have implemented a strict curfew for their precious 14-year-old.

They did not do that, however, and now they may have paid a terrible price for their lack of parenting.

But they will wipe their hands clean of any guilt or personal responsibility: they will call Al Sharpton and blame it all on racism.

If it's 2am and a male is in my backyard, which can only be accessed by scaling or B&E, and I have a wife and kid in my house...he's getting blown away.

The homeowner had the knowledge of access to the area the perp was in.

What if it is 2 a.m. and an attractive female is in your backyard?

Why is that? He really hasn't done anything to warrant being shot by you. Why don't you just call the police. Stop taking matters into your own hands and killing people for no reason.

What would be the purpose of calling the police?

Apparently, you have a problem with comprehension.

No, firing a warning shot does not mean you will go to jail.

Murdering someone does not mean you will go to jail.

Pretty simple.

The real reason some of you are against firing into the ground even for a teenager in your yard is because some of you dehumanize others and want to kill people over trivial things.

If the laws against warning shots offended some of you so badly you'd be trying to change them like you battle for your gun rights. But some of you want to kill others.

You may or may not escape U.S. prisons but you can't escape God's judgement when he sentences you eternally to hell.
