Nope, not that I am aware of in any of the conversations I have been having on this topic. Maybe someone else suggested that.

I mentioned it and you jumped on it.

Stick to your principles that you layed out at the beginning of this thread.
Jump for joy that they are making $15/hour and will be off welfare programs supporting themselves.

Stick with that instead of wavering every couple of posts and people won't confuse your stand.

I don't recall ever saying people making $28 an hour need government assistance. My position hasn't changed since the beginning, maybe you are just confused.

I am not asking for a website. I am asking you that question. You are the one in this conversation who thinks minimum wage should be raised, so what budget are you basing that on? How can you make the argument you are making if you haven't done the math to know if you are right?

I just told you what I was basing that on, the cost of living index. That is what I told you to Google. We're you hoping I would show my itemized monthly expenses?

Give us a number.
What annual salary do you think these people should be making ?
What is a "living wage" for these people ?

$30, $40, $50K a year ?

Businesses brace for 'serious cuts' as city enacts highest-in-nation $15 minimum wage | Fox News

Looks like businesses in SeaTac will be reducing hours, benefits, and their workforce. Another stupid liberal idea.

Seattle is the next city looking at $15/hour min wage.
Hopefully they will wait and see how things work out with SeaTac first.
Parking cars for $15/hour seems awfully high of a salary to me.

If someone works 40 hours/week for 50 weeks on that wage, that's a 30,000 salary. You can bet that all other salaries will be going up to. A starting accountant in Seattle might make 46k or something like that with a master's degree which is total BS.
