All drugs should be decriminalized to end this plague. Let zombies be zombies. Leave the rest of us alone.
I'm inclined to agree. It takes a special kind of stupid for someone to want to partake in dangerous chemical laced substances such as meth, heroin, or this new krockodil that is surfacing out of Russia. One thing about stupid... you can't fix it.

There is no proof that cannabis causes any sort of physical addiction. Again, the problem isn't with cannabis, or cannabis users. The problems are from those hooked on heroin, other opiates and meth.

There are 1.2 million people receiving treatment for pot annually, and that is about 30% of all people receiving treatment for any addiction, including booze. I know people who won't leave town for a vacation, because they fear they won't be able to find pot at the destination. They'd rather stay home and watch TV with their supply of cannabis. That's addiction. Plain and simple.

And how many of those 1.2 million people were forced into "treatment" because of our stupid laws regarding cannabis?
The public is now less apt to feel that legal marijuana would serve as a gateway to stronger drugs. In the new poll, Americans were more likely to see it as a deterrent to stronger drugs than three years ago: 17 percent thought it would disincline people from using more serious drugs, compared with 10 percent in 2010. About a third said it would lead people to try more serious drugs, down from 39 percent in 2010.
