Maybe they should have paid Portland that $400,000 for clean up...

Since you support our offensive irresponsible military trashing other countries to enrich others, because it is certainly not for defending this country, I'll take your $400,000 and raise you several trillion the tax payers are having to foot for the cleanup in Iraq and other countries we have crapped and took a dump on.

The most wasteful spend is coming from the defense budget and it is exposed in this video. Welfare Medicaid
Medicare do not even compare to the wasteful spending with the defense budget. I bet if we cut the $700billion defense budget by 40% to 50% we would not be effected one bit by the cut.

Because, Obama is continuing the same fascist agenda that the last 5 presidents have been on about, while talking about Hope and Change and ending the corruption in DC and on Wall Street and acting like he is for the common American, when he isn't.

The script Obama has been following is all smoke and mirrors, and those he is railing against publicly have never had it better due to his policies.

Defense could take the biggest cut of 100 to 300 billion and it would still be ok. Nothing else could take a cut that big and still be ok

By definition, welfare and Social Security are the most wasteful spending programs. Each of them pays a different group of eligible recipients TO NOT WORK. That's what welfare buys - people not working.

If DoD spends a dollar on something useful, they are ahead of welfare and Social Security. From former active duty experience, I can definitely agree that the DoD is bloated by at least 50%. No doubt, cut it in half tomorrow and nobody would notice minus fatcat defense contractors with proprietary contracts and their puppets on the House and Senate defense spending committees. But even at 50% blat, at least the DoD provides goods and services for some of their money.

All welfare and SS (welfare for old people) buy is less productivity. 100% bloat imho.

That's the point. It's not an accurate guideline to use.

Tempest, when are you going to post the source of your "chart?"
