I don't believe in god, abortion, or the death penalty.

It's always entertaining when liberals try to make up new rules for other people. They're so cute when they do that.

A consistent view is god is the only one who gives life and god is the only one who can take it away.
rubbish. abortion is the killing of an innocent child, where as the death penalty is only given to those that have been convicted of heinous crimes, usually murder.

Yes. It's like the difference between a seriel killer trying to break into your house to kill your family and you shoot him and going to a crib where a baby lies and killing it.

Wrong! Where did you come up with that idea?

Abortion is the taking of innocent life (murder). The death penalty is just punishment for the crime of murder, and prescribed as just punishment by God:
Genesis 9:6
"Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made man."
The crime of murder is very serious, because it is a crime against God himself.

Sorry. Your argument has been tried before. It doesn't work.

Well, if you've never read the bible, of course you wouldn't:
Genesis 9:6
Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made man.
That isn't the only place in scripture that refers to the death penalty either.

The death penalty is not barbaric. Abortion is.

You need to get involved in some serious bible study if you want to argue scripture. Until you do, you cannot understand, and it is pointless to argue with you. God can do what He wants (unlike Obama, who only thinks he can).

I'm pro-life but not pro-death penalty but that has nothing to do with the sanctity of life. There is a HUGE difference between killing an innocent baby and a convicted murderer. I'm anti death penalty because killing a killer requires someone else to become a killer of the killer and no one's job should be killing people no matter how much they deserve to die. My feelings are not for the criminal here. There are acts that make one not worthy of life. My feelings are for the executioner. No one should have to have the job of taking no matter how much death is deserved.

It doesn't matter what liberals think. They aren't God. All were created in the image of God. They are precious in His sight.
