Wait, low wages? But I think everyone in CA was working for Google or Facebook making over $100,000 per year.

Everyone in CA bragging about it being the "6th largest economy in the world'..

It's a shame that 25% of CA children 5 and under live in poverty.

California...the liberal 'miracle economy'...
---
Nearly a quarter of California children 5 years old and younger live in poverty, according to a new report that examines the impact of the cost of living and family income on the state’s youngest residents.
The report, titled “Reducing Child Poverty in California,” found that 31 percent of “poor” families spend more than half of their income on housing, making it difficult to meet basic needs, such as food and health care. Five percent of families in the state live in “deep poverty,” meaning they have less than half the resources they need, states the report, published by Public Policy Institute of California.

available in full on youtube.

Saw it many times. So sad, kids living in sight of Disney in abject poverty.

Of course. An open border sanctuary policy imports poverty.

California’s problem.

More than likely they created the problem.

Just goes to show that no matter how much money you throw into the sink-hole, you'll never lift everyone out of poverty. They still don't realize that the problem isn't a lack of money. The problem is inherent to the people.

Most of them are illegals, so I really don't care.

Once they are school age they get free breakfasts and lunches -- even during the summer when school is out -- and I'm paying for that, as well as their schooling and health care.

Those kids didn't look like illegals - pretty sad when we're asked to take care of everyone else's children when we can't take care of our own.

The map above is a good indication of where the illegals and poor legal immigrants are concentrating themselves, plus where there has always been a lot of poverty.

Liberals like poverty. They can't do anything to end it. They need the voter dependent on them.
