Yeah, and more people get attacked by sharks each year than pit bulls.
Pit bulls....whatever that means.
Don't play that game as it makes you sound ignorant. We have already discussed how people by and large who own them call them pitbulls, not one of the specific names like American Staffordshire Terriers.
As to your absurd comparison to shark fatalities, people do not have to worry about walking in their neighborhoods and having a shark kill their pet or maul/kill them.
BTW - I do not recall if you addressed the BAD RAP woman and her baby who was killed by the families pitbull. Did you?
If so I will go back and read it.
And you'll be safe with your poodles while chowing down on some bean sprouts.
Whatever you say, sweetie.
I don't have any poodles. I prefer larger breeds. I'm also pretty far from a sprout-eating vegetarian.
To bring this back on topic, my sister has a pitbull mix. She's a beautiful and sweet dog, until she sees another dog who is not part of her pack. Then she goes into kill mode. My dad paid the vet bills for the neighbor's small dog (some barking rat breed) after Moody (the pit-mix) knocked out a window screen to attack this neighbor's pooch, who was on a leash. I would have had her put down the same day, but dad is a softie.
You might get lucky with a pit. That time-bomb might never go off, but I wish this unfortunate breed would disappear for it's own sake. Man created this through selective breeding for a fight-to-the-death dog.

And please explain to me with impunity that you would FEEL the same way if it was a shepherd, ST Bernard, Doberman...et al....

That's ok, dear.
Those in the know..... KNOW that the APBT was bred to be a companion dog. And our little Pomeranian seems to be quite safe.
What is a pit bull mix?
What is a Doberman mix?
What are they mixed with?
Why was Petie on the Little Rascals so docile and trainable?
Why are there more shark attacks (double) than pit bull attacks?
Sounds like Daddy's dog needs a little training. Maybe it was the poodle in her.

First of all, I went back and looked and do not see any response to the post I asked if you responded to about the nut bag BAD RAP family.
Second, I am not sure what you are asking
The breeds you mentioned are certainly capable of killing someones pet dog/cat and inflicting damage to a human. On a rare occasion they might even kill a human. However we both know pitbulls are numero #1 in that department, far exceeding all those other breeds COMBINED!
The latest link talks of an alarming increase in the number of human fatalities caused by pitbulls in 2013.
