As of November 30, 2013, the Fund had US$ 156 million available to allocate to climate adaptation projects. By early November 2013, the AFB had allocated approximately US$ 200 million to support climate adaptation in 29 countries. The Adaptation Fund was established in 2001. (For comparison... Far too many of the followers of the cult of global warming seem to be unable to think for themselves. They are every bit as extreme as the worst of the religious nutcases of the Inquisition, that want to punish or kill heretics. Not all, certainly, but some.
On the other hand, deniers are not even willing to admit that 30,000 scientists could possibly be right, and are under the delusion that they are more knowledgeable than these scientists...
That is sure one big conspiracy theory you guys have dreamed up....It involves hundreds of nations, and many thousands of climate scientist that you think are perpetrating an international hoax on the entire planet....

Alarmism feeds polarization. Climate zealots want to burn heretics of global warming on a stick. Others only see incompetence and conspiracy in climate research, and nepotism in climate policy. A polarized debate is not conducive to enlightened policy in an area as complex as climate change – although we only need a carbon tax, and a carbon tax only, that applies to all emissions and gradually and predictably rises over time. The IPCC missed an opportunity to restore itself as a sober authority, accepted (perhaps only grudgingly) by most."

Now see, this is what tells me the blogger doesn't know what he's talking about. The LAST thing 'climate zealots" want is to burn more stuff, not without an environmental impact study and analyzing the carbon emissions.
If he had said "climate zealots want to hang the heretics with a nice length of hemp rope and feed the remains to barnyard animals or use them as fertiliser for organic gardens", he'd be far more credible.
One of the first rules of war is Know Your Enemy, and he appears to know squat.
Look at the media $$$$ behind climate change awareness and climate change denial. That should tell you something.

What reason is there for such a hoax?
Many of them have already realized the errors of their assumptions and have repudiated their support. Many other scientists never bought into human-caused "climate change" in the first place. The earth has been warmer before, the earth has been cooler before. If there is some slight warming occurring or natural, we'll simply have to adapt. Those not on board with the AGW cult get very suspicious of so many of the cult making money off it. Algore and his CO2 exchange was the most obvious example.
