You have no idea about American history and if you believe that the enslavement of Africans in America wasn't about racial oppression, you are ignorant of reality and history.
Par for the course. It's okay if they're racists, but whites better not be. They'll even call whites racists just because they don't like their political opinion.

The issue is that some people are racists and are looking to justify their racism by raising nonsensical issues like this.
How many whites know or care who the 5%ers are, much less able to chronicle how their attitudes towards whites has harmed them?
How can you possibly defend your assertion that slavery in the U.S. was racial oppression when it is actual historical fact that people of BOTH races both owned and were slaves? It completely defies logic.
Was slavery oppression? Yes. Was it racial oppression? No.
We can debate at length about slavery. How about let us talk about its aftermath. De jure Jim Crow in the South, and de facto Jim Crow in the North. A political, social, and economic system which disenfranchised blacks, rendering their ability to improve their lot in life to be very difficult.
Are you going to tell me that both blacks and whites suffered equally under Jim Crow?
Here is the deal. While no living person was slave, or knew any one who was, just about every black person over 50 living in the USA during this period was impacted by Jim Crow. That's a whole lot of people who you probably pass by every day!
The REAL oppression started AFTER Anthony Johnson brought a case to court that brought about oppressive ENSLAVEMENT you are so angry about. So again, go complain to Africans, they are your biggest contributor in all of this.

The racializing of slavery was due to white property owners feeling threatened at two levels. By an increasing group of black property owners. And by increased bonds between the African and Irish slaves, which resulted in several rebellions where they joined forces.
I don't see what that has to do with Anthony Johnson, whose families lost out as a result. The fact remains that those who ruled in that case were all property owners who had a vested interest. Johnson was but another property owner.
Please not that evidence indicates that there were relatively harmonious race relations at the time, yet a few decades later this all changed.
But according to the 5percenters there's nothing they'd like better than to do exactly those things you listed. From this perspective I'd say it does matter.
That's about it... sad, but true.
And yet they never did, and never will do it. I don't see the whites gentrifying neighborhoods, where this group exists, trembling in fear or complaining that they have been leading hordes of blacks in cross burning hysteria.
To equate group with the Confederate flag, which was used on two occasions as a symbol of oppressive state power against blacks, is laughable. And yet every where one goes in the South there is another confederate flag.
