Surely you don't think these people are doing a good job, do you?

BTW...do you hope this happens to white "leaders" too, seeing as how white people are primarily responsible for the illegal immigration situation to begin with. After all, You don't think black folks own all of those meatpacking, textile, and other heavy industrial plants, do you?
The effects of mass immigration have more of a negative consequences on Blacks. This has been consistently found in studies. I suspect you don't care much though.

Lol he just changed how deportations are counted. Interior deportations, the traditional measure, have all but grounded to a halt.

Not even that but a lot of Hispanics in his district are Puerto Ricans. A candidate running on Dominican solidarity isn't going to do much for them.

The man has cultivated relationships with power brokers for 40+ years. It'll take more than a marginal Dominican state legislator to dislodge him.

It is really annoying that criticism of mass immigration is ignored and everyone is expected to believe out of control population growth in the USA is a good thing despite how awful the economy is and how it is incapable of producing jobs to keep up with the population growth.
The powers that be want a pliant serf class I'm shocked the Left no only doesn't see this but are actively promoting it.

This was yet another race about race, just like the Chicago mayoral primary from 2011.

One can only assume Mr. Rangel wants to some how not leave office while the legacy of scandal is still attached and fresh in person's minds. Then there is the pride/benefit of being an AA politician holding office with the first member of that race as POTUS, something Mr. Rangel and others of that group have held as a long cherished goal.
They get addicted to the lifestyle and perks. Most people would.

What difference does it make what race a business owner is? There are many mom and pop businesses ran by minorities and whom are Democrats that hire illegal aliens also. To hear some talk it is only white, rich conservatives that hire illegal aliens.

Mr. Rangel is very much a part of and had benefitted from the Democratic machine that while not as powerful in NYS/NYC politics as before still is a force local politics.

Still things do not always go the Machine's way. Christine Quinn was their darling in the recent NYC mayoral race and look what happened to her.

Where is your credible source?

False information - it has been practically open borders with Obama -- too much proof to document here, try to read news besides the liberal propaganda and you will be better informed. I just moved from a border state, it has gotten way worse under Obama.
How did I guess that you were going to reply and not substantiate your claim!!!
