Right?

Why didn't the black woman call the police about a "creepy white guy" taking her picture? Why is it okay for her 1st reaction to resort to physical violence?

Maybe you and the gun fetishists would. I'm normal.

I despise the world we've become. Politically correct nonsense where some of us are supposed to just keep our mouths shut about certain things, or we get labeled and ridiculed, called racist, bigoted, etc.
You approve of the filthy, SEXIST language he uses? The C word over and over? Sh*t stain? A$$ face? And you're supposed to be so religious.

Huh.

You people are clueless if you have no issue with strangers taking your picture. You have no idea what that person taking your picture intends to do with your image. It is obvious that Anthony was intentionally taking a picture of that woman as evidenced by another picture that he took of the back view of another young black lady (however she was probably unaware that he had taken her pic)

Why was this man taking pics of black women in Times Square? He sounds like a sexually frustrated creepy old white dude with an "ebony" fetish. His rant was filled with racial hatred yet it spewed forth from his frustration with being caught trying to satisfy some need to interact with black women.

If this ^^^^ creepy pervy looking white dude approached me at night while I was alone and was taking my picture I would probably have the same reaction as that woman. She had a right to protect herself.

When you are in a public place you have no right to privacy. If you have a problem with someones actions you ask/tell them to stop, you don't hit them in the face multiple times while calling them a white mother****er. How do you protect your self from a camera? You walk away.

Lets try this situation. A celebrity is walking down the street having their picture taken by the paparazzi. If the celebrity were to attack the photographer, would that make it okay? NO?!?! They why is this any different?

The First Amendment (Amendment I) to the United States Constitution prohibits the making of any law respecting an establishment of religion, impeding the free exercise of religion, abridging the freedom of speech

So yes I am okay with it.

Define normal? What would you have done? According to the story Anthony was carrying that night. If he wanted an excuse to shoot somebody that was a prefecty good one, yet he didn't, and kept his gun holstered

YOU are solely going by what Anthony Cumia is saying about the situation. Of course he has a reason to lie. Where is HIS police report? Why didn't HE call the cops if what he's saying is true. I don't believe his account for anything because he also took pics of ANOTHER black woman that night. And she is not a celebrity but a private citizen. Try comparing apples to apples.

Once again, if you are a woman walking alone at night in NYC and this creepy looking guy starts taking your picture you would be on guard and defend yourself. But I guess black women are supposed to be these invincible warriors with no fear of being sexually assaulted by strange white men approaching them and taking their photos.

Sorry but you bias is obvious. If that black woman had been your mother, wife, daughter or sister and Anthony Cumia was a black man you would be singing a completely different tune.

You people are disgustingly blatant in your bigotry. That perv Cumia better be glad that the woman he harassed didn't have a gun. She would have been fully justified in standing her ground against that jerk.

And I am so glad that this RACIST was FIRED for his antics and Twitter rant

You're right I am. Do you have another side of the story to go off of? or are you just assuming stuff because of your bias?

SHE was minding her own business. I would hope that you would teach your children to respect the privacy and personal space of others. If you look at the pics, there was nothing else that he was taking a picture of EXCEPT for the woman so this wasn't "accidental". He also took pictures of other black women so he was not taking pictures of the city or buildings as he stated. I will not post the pics out of respect for the privacy of those women.

Also, how does the shape of a woman diminish the amount of threat that she felt at a strange man approaching her for a reason that was unknown to her? I have looked at the pics and the black woman looks rather petite. So the linebacker comments are basically another racist tinge and show your bias. Just be honest. You simply had no issue with what he did because the woman was black.

I have no issue with it because you have no expectation of privacy when you are out in public. When you feel threatened you do not attack some body else, you avoid the situation. How many cameras do you think she was photographed by when she was out in time square at 3:00 AM, 100? 1000? 10,000? Why get upset because one jerk takes some pictures? I am not saying Anthony is a good guy, he is a scum bag. But there is nothing wrong with taking pictures of anything at anytime anywhere.

So if a strange man starts taking pictures of your wife or 12 year old daughter you are going to be perfectly fine with it?

You have no idea if that guy is going to just take that home and use it for his own personal "pleasure", put the images on an "escort" site or use your daughter's picture to advertise for a pedophile blog. But you are perfectly fine with a strange man taking those photos not knowing his intentions? Sure, ok.

Perhaps you don't know how this works but you usually have to get a person to sign a release form to use their image
